Kind represents our bespoke blanket offering – beautiful blankets made from locally sourced, sustainable natural fibres to brighten any space. CommonKind uses a buy one, give one model - so when you purchase a Kind blanket, you’re also sharing joy and warmth to a child in Aotearoa through a gifted Common blanket. Talk about warm fuzzies! 

Kind blankets are 100% made in New Zealand. How incredible that we can create blankets from scratch here - from the 100% wool fibre, to the yarn, to weaving the blankets, to the finishing - to you! Knowing our supply chain is incredibly important - it means you can trust that your blanket is made in safe working conditions, with fair payment for all of the makers. 

We’re also proud that when you - and your great great great grandchildren - are finished loving your Kind blanket, it can safely biodegrade within months when buried in the earth. You could even plant a tree while you’re at it! That’s pretty incredible when you compare with synthetic fabrics which could take up to 200 years to biodegrade, emitting harmful chemicals in the process.
